I’ve been hearing a few myths about how a dōTERRA wholesale customer account works, so I thought it was time to set the record straight.🙌
I cannot believe that people are still being told that they have to order monthly!! 🤦‍♀️ Let’s just be honest with people and let them decide 😉

MYTH 1: YOU NEED TO HAVE A DOTERRA MEMBERSHIP TO PURCHASE OILS

❌NOT TRUE: You can actually purchase them retail through wellness advocates like myself. You shop on our website and doterra sends the products direct to you.

But most people do get a wholesale/VIP customer account which gives you 25% off retail prices because it’s often way more cost effective.

With the wholesale membership option you have 2 choices:
1) Get a starter kit and the membership fee is waived 2) Place a 100PV order of your choice and the membership is waived or if your order is under 50PV, you pay a R445 membership fee.

MYTH 2: IF YOU ARE A WHOLESALE/VIP CUSTOMER YOU NEED TO ORDER EVERY MONTH!!

❌NOT TRUE!! There are no monthly or other requirements. If you never order again on your account it doesn’t matter!! If you order every few months when you need oils it doesn’t matter! If you order every month it doesn’t matter! You have complete flexibility and no one should be pressuring or telling you that you need to order regularly.

We do have a completely OPTIONAL monthly ordering reward program for people that choose to order monthly but that is something you can decide to start at any time of your membership if you wish and end whenever you like.

The only exception is for people earning commission (ie doing this as a business) we need to place a 100PV monthly order to receive commission

MYTH 3: IF YOU GET A DOTERRA MEMBERSHIP YOU NEED TO RESELL AND DO THE BUSINESS!!

❌NOT TRUE!! A wholesale customer membership gives you 25% off the retail price of the products but you are under no obligation to resell or do the business In fact you can’t resell or do the business or earn any commission with a wholesale/VIP customer account.

The only way you can do that is to upgrade to a wellness advocate membership so that one is super easy to debunk!!🙂

MYTH 4: IF YOU GET A DOTERRA MEMBERSHIP IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO YOU ENROL WITH OR YOU DON’T HAVE A CHOICE!!

❌NOT TRUE!! When you get your own membership you are effectively being assigned to the person you enrol and they are your support person (So choose wisely😉). So it’s your choice and decision end of story.

There are so many different rollers you can make using your starter oils in our starter kits (plus Wild Orange in a couple because you all need it 🙌😜):

✔️For my rollers I personally add about 30-40 drops of essential in a 10ml roller as I find you get so many applications from one roller so if I’m only adding say 5 drops to a roller and I use that roller say 50+ times that isn’t going to have much effect per use. But that is just me!! You can absolutely use less essential oil if you prefer especially if your kids are younger or have sensitive skin. There is no right or wrong!

✔️ I personally prefer a spritzer for some of these as it’s easier to apply over a larger area! When I do use a spritzer I just the same amount of essential oil for a 30ml spritzer as I would a 10ml roller as you get tend to get more at once with using a spritzer compared to a roller.

✔️ I use fractionated coconut oil (FCO) in my rollers and spritzers as it’s super absorbent and doesn’t smell!

1)FOCUS ROLLER
20 drops Wild Orange
20 drops Peppermint
Top with FCO in a 10 ml roller bottle.
⭐HOW I USE: Apply to back of neck, on bones directly behind the ears or rub in palm of hands and inhale when you need a mental lift!

2)HAPPY HEAD ROLLER
10 drops Frankincense
10 drops Peppermint
10 drops Lavender
Top with FCO in a 10 ml roller bottle.
⭐HOW I USE: Apply to temples, back of neck and on bones behind the ears as needed.

3)HAPPY NOSE/SEASONAL THREATS ROLLER
10 drops Lavender
10 drops Lemon
10 drops Peppermint
Top with FCO in a 10ml roller bottle.
⭐ HOW I USE: Apply to back of neck, on bones directly behind the ears or bridge of the nose.

4)PAIN SUPPORT ROLLER
25 drops Deep Blue
15 drop Frankincense
Top with FCO in 10ml roller bottle.
⭐HOW I USE: Apply topically with light massage to the area.

5) IMMUNITY BOOST ROLLER or SPRITZER
40 drops On Guard
Top with FCO in a 10ml roller or 30ml spritzer
⭐ HOW I USE: I apply daily in winter to our feet to support the immune system

6)IMMUNITY BOMB ROLLER or SPRITZER
15 drops On Guard
15 drops Lemon
5 drops Frankincense
5 drops Oregano (OPTIONAL)
Top with FCO in a 10ml roller or 30ml spritzer
⭐HOW I USE: I apply as needed to the feet to support the immune system when sickness strikes.
Tip: I leave the Oregano out and apply that separately when needed

7) RESPIRATORY SUPPORT ROLLER or SPRITZER
30 drops Easy Air/Breathe
10 drops Frankincense
Top with FCO in a 10ml roller or 30ml Spritzer
⭐HOW I USE: Apply to the chest and bottom of the feet as needed.

8 ) TUMMY TROUBLE ROLLER or SPRITZER
30 drops DigestZen
10 drops Wild Orange (Optional)
Top with FCO in a 10ml roller or 30ml Spritzer
⭐HOW I USE: I apply to the tummy in a clockwise direction as needed. Please note the Wild Orange is optional. I personally include it as sometimes when my children say they have a tummy ache it is anxious feelings so if I’m not sure what is causing it, I find the Wild Orange helps calm the nerves.

9)GROUNDING ROLLER
12 drops Lavender
12 drops Wild Orange
12 drop Frankincense
Top with FCO in 10ml roller bottle.
⭐HOW I USE Apply to back of neck, on bones directly behind the ears, wrists or rub in palm of hands and inhale when you need grounding and a sense of calm.

10) SWEET DREAMS ROLLER
15 drops Lavender
15 drops Frankincense
Top with FCO in 10ml roller bottle.
⭐HOW I USE Apply at night on bottoms of feet, chest, back of neck or wrists or inhale from hands.
