Haemalife is very proud to share that Jana, our pharmacist, recently participated in the Standard Distance Age Group World Triathlon Championships in Pontevedra, Spain, on September 24, 2023. 🌍🏆
We're incredibly excited to announce that Jana achieved an impressive 12th place overall in her age category! 🥇👏 This is a remarkable accomplishment that showcases her dedication, determination, and athleticism. We applaud your hard work Jana and congratulate you on this outstanding achievement! 🎉👟🙌

On 1 September another Haematologist and Pharmacist has joined the Haemalife team.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to Dr Simon Brett and Jana van der Berg. We are very excited and wish you all of the best with your journey with us.

The 2nd of June was day. The Haemalife team joined in an effort to create awareness of the mental health among all health care workers.

The World Transplant Games were held in Perth, Australia, from 15 April to 22 April and we are so proud to share that 2 of our patients competed.

Melda Ruiters had a Bone Marrow Transplant September 2016. She participated in the 3km Race Walk and received a Silver Medal in her category. 🥈

Chantel Williams Menziwa had her Bone Marrow Transplant January 2021 and she participated in the 100m Sprint.

Team Transplant South Africa had 36 athletes that participated in various categories of sport and brought home:

9 Gold Medals 🥇
21 Silver Medals 🥈
11 Bronze Medals 🥉

We are currently undergoing renovations at our practice and we are very excited to be making improvements in order for us to better our service delivery to our patients.
