PACSO would like to continue contributions to the Proteahof Project at Tygerberg Hospital.
It started off with collecting toiletries for cancer patients from rural areas who arrived unprepared for their treatment.

We’ve done so well - thank you to every single donation. It is greatly appreciated!

The ol’e OCD took over and everything is arranged in baskets in a locked cupboard. There will be no careless squandering of your thoughtful contributions. They will reach their intended destination - those who have nothing and are facing one of the biggest battles of their lives.

The interior for the lodge itself was desperately in need of attention.

A very kind and generous sponsor agreed to paint the entire 42 room lodging. It is no longer a dark and gloomy place, but light and bright and clean.

Leoni Winter has amassed a wonderful team of people to help with renovations… she’s heading the project from the front. I don’t know how many hours of planning, cleaning and elbow grease she’s put in! I would go to battle with this woman…

We are not an NGO, we are just a community of people who want to help.

They are still looking for a washing machine and more toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, face cloth, lotion, lip balm, soap, shower gel, mouth wash, pocket tissues, wipes, pads, tampons, vaseline, roll-on deodorant) to be donated. Please drop off with Hilani Du Toit at PACSO. Thank you.
