The BEST cure for CHRONIC LOW BACK PAIN?

PILATES 💪🧘‍♀️

So many studies have now been done researching the efficacy of Pilates and its impact on Low back pain (amongst other benefits).

The answer is clear - Pilates and movement, strengthening the core, Protecting abnormal movement patterns, getting balanced strength and range of movement.

No medical interventions and medicines - just pilates and movement

BEST ANTI AGING AND HEALTH HACK EVER!!!!

Strength training!!!

The problem often is not knowing where to start!
I have a strength training 8 week prgrammenon my app that is ready and waiting for you- it is for all levels of experience, training from home or gym.

Lifting heavy doesn’t mean you have to lift 50kg - heavy for you might be 2, 5 or 10kg - start where you are and slowly increase💪💪

No time to train? No excuses

I needed to cook and train - so trained while cooking 😂

Workout x 4 rounds :

Bulgarian split squats x 20
Sit to stand one leg x 10
Band biceps x 10
Shoulder press x 10

There is always time - even if it’s not the worlds best workout, it’s consistency that counts 💪

PART 1 : UPDATE ON SHOULDER 3.5 months post surgery to reattach one rotator cuff tendon and the long head of biceps tendon (both pulled off the bone) as well as shaving some bone due to arthritis 😱😱

It’s improving so well - is still weak and have to be careful with using it too much - part time work for now, but it’s getting there!

Silly things I struggle with - lying on that side still hurts, can’t side plank yet even in modified position, holding someone’s hand walking next to me ( CLEARLY NOT A RANDOM STRANGER 😂😂) - who knew you needed that much external rotation z and anything lifting - like especially off passenger seat in car

But range is much better, strength sloooooowly improving, pain a lot better - most days 2-4/10 and have started jogging with my arm in a make shift sling from the dog lead!

PURE PILATES LIVE ON APP - Friday @ 6am

What a great place to teach my class, perfect start to the day - w have worked legs and butt a lot this week so kept it mostly core (posterior and anterior ) .

All LIVE classes are recorded and loaded to the app so every week there are 7 new class on the app PLUS the strength training program which consists of 8 weeks training 3 x week

Try out this session above - we did about 10 of everything 💪. Looks deceptively easy for those who haven’t done pilates before 😂
