The deeper one travels into the ancient traditions, the clearer it becomes that astrology was never originally understood as merely symbolic. It was understood as a living science of energy — a way of describing how the cosmos interacts with the subtle bodies of the human being.

Long before modern astrology software existed, different cultures were describing the same invisible architecture of life.

In yoga, for example, this energetic anatomy appears through the nadis — subtle channels through which life force flows.

In ancient Egypt, the same energetic field was known as the “Ka” — the luminous life body that surrounds, interpenetrates, and sustains the physical form.

In modern language we might call this the etheric body.
