The procedure itself is quite straightforward, however, there are a few things to keep in mind as you recover.

👉 After breast reduction surgery, your ability to breastfeed may be limited.
👉 Pregnancy-related changes in the breasts or significant weight loss or gain can change the results over the long-term.
👉 Before the surgery, you should avoid taking aspirin and some anti-inflammatory medications.
👉 If you’re a smoker, take into consideration that smoking constricts blood flow, which can have significant effects on healing of the breast and ni**le. This surgery is not recommended for active smokers.
