15 minutes super easy preparation family dinner, R380 for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) 😎:
Simply put your pieces of hake 🐟 in foil, pour some 🫒 olive oil, cut veggies (here I put baby marrows, cherry tomatoes 🍅, and carrots 🥕), a little bit of thym, lemon 🍋, salt and pepper, close the foil and cook in the oven for about 15min/20min.
While your fish is cooking, boil pearl barley, mix with pesto (there are some very good ready made pesto out there 😋) and mix with green 💚 beans.
Serve and voilà 🎉
Fish is protein, barley and green beans together also form a complete protein, veggies are full of fibers, vitamins and minerals = You get a full healthy dinner, low cost and it's beautiful 😍

I'm also a working mom so I fully understand the hassle of evening cooking 😅 and I don't do super fancy pics so that you can see it's really home made ❤️

There is a world of difference!
If you tell yourself "I can't" your brain will automatically find you excuses to why you could and will resist the interdiction, just like a naughty child 😉
"Not wanting to" is completely different: It is YOUR decision, your brain will respect that 😎
"I can't have that cheesecake" automatically makes you sad, "I don't want that cheesecake" empowers you to make your own decisions.
Impressive how phrasing things in two different ways can have such a great impact no?

Yeap healthy, fast and cheap meals do exists 😅
✨️ Less than R200 for a meal for 4 (2 adults, 2 kids)
✨️ 15 min prep time
✨️ Fibres, vitamins, minerals, and proteins
😂 10 minutes to wash the dishes
😉 Even warming up an unhealthy ready-made ultra processed store bought lasagna takes more time...
➡️ fresh chicken schnitzel bought at the Butcher, greens, wholewheat pastas, simple butter and lemon sauce, a bit of parmesan and olive oil.
📷 I specifically didn't stage the picture of my plate because, let's be honest, I'm tired of the professional Chefs pictures vs what we REALLY cook for our families 🤣

One small action at a time 💪🏻 Forget about turning your entire life around, it's demotivating and impossible 😅 If you change small things, every day, at the end it will all count ✨️ Start drinking 2l of water today, tomorrow do a sugar free day, walk 10 minutes after your meal, whatever small thing you choose to do differently every day will all add up in the end 😊

Easy hack? ⚠️Forget about fruit juices!!! And I mean ALL of them 😉
Why?
➡️ Industrial juices are treated for long lasting shelf life, it's impossible to have any substantial dose of vitamins in them, it's a concentrate of fructose (the sugar in fruits) that rushes through your body and spikes your blood sugar level 🙈 That or a can of soda it's the exact same effect on your body (and can you imagine on your kid's body 🫣)
➡️ Fresh juices are a double problem: 1. You extract only the juice out of the fruit, leaving out all the fibers and minerals. 2. You need to have more than your 2 daily fruits to make a whole glass 🥛 so you are doubling or tripling the amount of daily sugar you are needing per day (same for smoothies)
✅️ Eat a real banana 🍌 a real apple 🍎 you will get all the benefits of the fruit and the action of chewing will help your body assimilate 🤩
✅️ 2 fruits max per day if you are trying to lose weight, 4 fruits max per day for the others 😎

The amount of proteins is not bad at all, and the sugar ratio is totally acceptable. The taste is really nice and there are not too many unhealthy ingredients 😉
Don't get me wrong: I would most definitely not eat one per day but I am very happy to slip one in my bag when I have long working days or travelling in case I feel like a snack 😎
I find them at Checkers, Sportman's warehouse, and Wellness Warehouse.
They are not cheap (between R37 and R45/bar), but good snacks are generally not 😅

"I deserve it, I had a tough day", "That won't make a difference", "It's Saturday", "I'll start tomorrow", "It's just an exception" We can get sooooooo creative when it comes to finding excuses 😂
But you know me, I am 100% honest with you ❤️: You are only lying to yourself...
So for 2025, just be honest with yourself, and ask yourself: Are you really giving yourself a chance for a healthy body?

🎊 Festive season is here 🎊 Most of my clients stress about their weight at this time of the year: Lots of social gatherings, holidays, the kids around, etc
But really, it can be a change of routine but it doesn't mean it has to change what you eat! Having fun and eating healthy can go together 😉
Here is what you want to avoid: processed sugar (cake, sweet, etc - or once a day max), chips and crisps (go for nuts, veggies, dips instead), high sugar alcohol (gin, cocktails, white wine, rather drink bubbles!) and.... foie gras 😅
Go to braais, drink champagne, eat meat and seafoods, tons of veggies and have your OCCASIONAL slice of cake and you will be absolutely fine 💪🏻
Happy Festive season to you all 😘

Pourquoi...

J’ai toujours été passionnée par ce que certains êtres humains étaient capables d’accomplir.

Que ce soit des symboles comme Nelson Mandela, Oprah, Walt Disney, Michael Jordan (pour n’en citer que certains) mais aussi des gens dans notre entourage, ceux qu’on admire parce qu’on a l’impression que tout ce qu’ils touchent se transforme en or.

Ce qui uni toutes ces personnalités hors du commun c’est une force mentale, une rigueur psychologique et une volonté hors du commun : un Mindset en béton armé !

Et parce qu’il n’y a pas qu’une seule technique pour y arriver et qu’il y a beaucoup de matière, j’ai fini par construire un programme, comme un entraînement physique, et en faire un résumé dans ce podcast.
