When you ‘force’ the jaw to release or stretch it to the max, you are just inviting the holding patterns of tension to stay put. The jaw is the KEY to tension patterns in the entire body: When you invite the muscles to do less and release on their own accord, you invite the whole system to soften, to breathe and to settle in multiple places.
Repeat as often as needed and stay curious about what shifts in you 💎

Your nervous system needs boundaries. Not more rituals. My wish for YOU in 2026💎:

Being regulated isn’t about doing more.
It’s about knowing when to stop or pause.
Your nervous system heals when your boundaries become embodied.
May you know your NO.

Healing is amazing when it happens but it’s not linear. It sucks when you feel alone in your unique or ‘strange’ symptoms. Also… hi it’s been a long time!👋💕

I promise there’s a way through! Stay gentle and work on:
🌱 being kind to yourself
🌱 slowing down
🌱 finding ways to be okay in the mystery/the unknown

The body heals layers according to its own timelines, no forcing or pushing. Learn to listen to your own body.

It’s fun to finally be sharing some of my birth story - it’s taken me 5yrs to share about my first birth experience and can’t wait to share about my 2nd. Already 10mo postpartum!🤯Sending love to you all

If you’re in and out of a chronic pattern, it can be a really frustrating place. It’s easy to lose hope or feel like things will never change.

Here’s some questions to bring you back to your body so that you can stay the course, especially when you can’t see the path ahead 💕

For those of you deep in something right now. For when you feel like it will never end. Or when you’ve lost faith that it will shift.

Wrote this post over a few months while I was deep in postpartum insomnia-land. The days feel long and the nights even longer. The only thing I can say is find ways to resource yourself with compassion and keep going until things shift, which they will, even if it feels like the never-ending story…

Reflecting on the year, this thought has been close to my heart

In what ways did the most challenging situations shape and guide you to find a resilience you didn’t know was possible?

I found myself in lowest of lows, coming up for air, and then circling down again. There were times I felt completely betrayed by situations or people but deep in my overwhelm, I was pushed to find that which sustains me. Not the people nor the things I hoped would help, but a way of seeing things I needed to see, and to be so utterly devastated in that place of seeing, that a new way of being was forced upon me.

What sustains you when you have no hope, no faith, no “New Years resolutions” to keep you on said path?

These are the things these days have taught me and continue to show me…

Wishing you New Years blessings that you may see deeper and clearer that before, and with more and more compassion for yourself and others ❤️💕❤️

Using YOUR VOICE is one of the most powerful and best ways to self-regulate, calm an anxious mind, ground into your breath, settle, reset, connect to your body, tap into joy

This is NOT about singing or sounding good. The voice has a magical way of clearing the cobwebs, bringing up stuck or stale emotions and re-vitalizing your being

All you NEED:
1. A quiet space and 5min
2. Sit comfortably, notice your breath (close your eyes if it helps)
3. Start with a sigh and add some sound
4. Allow the breath to be the initiator, and then let sound out on the exhale
5. Pause, inhale and sound again
6. Try not to PLAN or JUDGE the sound coming out
7. You can add movement later, but start with voice and breath first
8. ENJOY and take a moment to notice how you feel after ;)

New York photo dump… almost a decade ago. Gahhhh I loved that place. Brooklyn. Running on adrenal fumes and no sleep. Writing songs deep into the night, learning how to play guitar with shaky hands and a shaky voice and letting myself be seen. Eek

it took me a few years to recover once I landed back home. Perhaps I’m still recovering. I’d have stayed forever if the universe didn’t kick me back home with a Greencard denial. It’s funny how things we absolutely don’t want to happen can turn out to be the biggest gift
