March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛

Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women, yet many live with symptoms for years before receiving a diagnosis.

Painful periods and chronic pelvic pain are often normalised, but persistent pain should never be ignored.

At Delya Twynam Physiotherapist we believe awareness and education are powerful steps toward better support and care.

HELLO MARCH 💛

March is more than just the start of a new season. It’s a month of awareness, strength and powerful stories.

It’s Endometriosis Awareness Month — honouring the women who live with pain that is often unseen and misunderstood.

It’s Autoimmune Awareness Month — standing with those whose bodies fight battles others cannot see.

It’s Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Awareness Month — recognising resilience in the face of uncertainty.

And on International Women’s Day (8 March), we celebrate the strength, courage, softness, leadership and endurance of women everywhere.

At Delya Twynam Physiotherapist we see daily how much strength lives inside the human body, especially in women who keep showing up despite pain, fatigue, diagnosis, and life’s demands.

This month, we choose awareness.
We choose compassion.
We choose to listen better.
We choose to believe people when they say they’re not okay.

To everyone navigating their own private battle, you are not weak. You are not dramatic. You are not alone.

March reminds us that awareness creates understanding.

And this cause is deeply personal to us.

Encephalitis is a devastating inflammation of the brain, and it can strike anyone, at any time.🥺

It can be caused by various factors, including viruses, bacteria, and autoimmune responses.

The effects can be long-lasting and severe, impacting memory, behavior, and physical abilities.

Common symptoms include:
* High fever
* Severe headache
* Confusion and disorientation
* Seizures
* Changes in personality or behavior

This day is very important, because early detection is extremely important.
