Today is the start of Disability Rights Awareness Month (DRAM), which will run from 3 November till 3 December to end on International Day for People with Disabilities.

Ari Seirlis took this opportunity to reflect on the Employment Equity Act and the changes made at the start of the year to question whether it will assist people with disabilities to gain meaningful employment.
