What if the tenets of homeopathic thinking were instilled in our children early on? What if instead of learning about germ theory, our children learned about building a strong terrain, the intelligence of life, the importance of expression (vs. suppression), how to be good observers, and that like cures like?

The Real Immunity Team has answered this call—we’ve created a virtual program for kids called Vitality Classes. Vitality Classes are multidisciplinary lessons that will be offered monthly. They have been designed by a certified teacher and can be used by families with children of multiple age ranges and are suitable for homeschoolers as well as public school children.

Wow. Fascinating new research by Dawson S.L. et al., (2021) published in The Lancet.

The composition of a pregnant mother's gut is connected to her baby's brain development, and can predict a child's future behaviour.

Read more about the research in our new blog-post: https://microbirth.teachable.com/blog/238629/maternal_gut

What this means....

If this information can reach an expectant parent EARLY in pregnancy - this can help encourage the parent to nurture a healthy gut microbiome.

This can support her baby's future brain development.

This means: Knowledge about the infant microbiome can encourage the mother to make microbiome-friendly choices during pregnancy, well ahead of her birth.

If a mother can nurture beneficial microbes in her va**na and gut ahead of the birth, these beneficial microbes will be transferred to her baby during va**nal birth.

If the mother breastfeeds, these beneficial microbes are then fed by the special sugars in breast milk. This helps ensure the right beneficial microbes are present for the optimal training of the infant immune system. This can help protect a baby for life.

So how can health professionals ensure this critical information reaches expectant parents EARLY in pregnancy?

We have a solution.

Read this blog-post to find out what it is!

The Origins of “Hooga”

When researching names for my practice, I wanted an image of a safe, warm, cuddly place. “Hygge” popped up. It is a Danish word (pronounced Hooga) that epitomises everything I could think of that I could wish for my Moms during their pregnancy, including their labour experience and postnatal life at home with their loved ones. So think; Nest building. Taking time for self. Warm cuddly blankets, soft candlelight, Mugs of Herbal teas, Aromatic Coffee blends, Hot chocolate, Fluffy cats, Favourite books, Cake & Soft woolen socks!

In using the phonetic spelling I hope to bring a piece of Africa into this safe place. My childhood memories of the community of spirit amongst African women during childbirth must be kept alive & nourished. The sacred space we create when birthing a child will live on forever in our memories and will have a lasting effect on how this new HuMan lives its best life.
