GrowKit GrowKit is a product developed and made by Grow-Rite Nursery supplies. We look forward to supporting gardening and ‘down to earth’ activities for everyone.

Grow-rite is a leading supplier of a wide range of products to the nursery and agricultural sectors. By associating ourselves with the best manufacturers locally and internationally, we ensure that our customers get the best products for their growing needs. Owner and MD of Grow-Rite, Brett Young, has been a practising horticulturalist and grower for over 20 years. After studying horticulture at Pretoria Technikon, he worked for the biggest cut flower and bulb producer in the country before completing a two-year certificate at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. A stint at one of the largest pot plant nurseries in the USA followed, before returning to SA to establish Bayflora Nursery from 1998-2012, before selling the business and focusing on Grow-rite. Grow-Rite was established in 2005 and as a grower, we understand the many challenges of the industry. We pride ourselves on personal customer service – no matter how big or small the customer. We are located in the Western Cape, but can arrange freight around the country. 60% of sales target the professional market, but increasingly products are being sourced and developed for the retail sector. Growkit is our latest ‘baby’, and through this product we look forward to supporting gardening and ‘down to earth’ activities for everyone. For the discerning amateur chef microherbs, for the health conscious we have developed the wheatgrass kit and for the vegetable gardener who wants something different a delicious and exciting range of Heirloom vegetables. Lets not forget about the kids range – a range that is fun, educational and interactive.
