Oude Molen Food Garden Village It has also become a community collective with 20 passionate gardeners each with their own allotment.

Oude Molen Food Garden is an urban organic agricultural project that provides training courses, safe spaces for gatherings, a children's garden project, community service for schools, integrated garden therapy sessions and embraces allotment gardeners. The Food Garden Village is an urban agricultural project which began as an educational and empowerment programme for children and youth and soon included a programme for clients of the occupational therapy department of the Valkenberg Psychiatric Hospital & open Circle in Alexandra Hospital. Kelly Mansfield runs the management of the garden and is an educator of the Children's Programme (every Wednesday)

If you have a friend or family member who is an avid gardener OR you really want to start your own veggie patch then buying some heirloom seeds as a gift is a most wonderful thing to do.

Our seeds are grown organically here in The Oude Molen Garden, Hand picked and packaged by myself.
