We are so excited to welcome Thakirah Edwards to the studio.

Thakirah studied Performing Arts at The Cape Academy of Performing Arts, graduating in 2011.
She has experience in dance, drama, directing, and choreography and spent 5 years as a Drama teacher at The International School of Cape Town. Other than the performing arts, she is a homeschooling mom with a love for photography and all things creative ❤️

So grateful for each and every one of you 🤍✨ Taking the leap to start classes in Bergvliet was a big risk, but it turned into one of the most rewarding decisions we’ve ever made. The dedication, energy, and constant support from these incredible ladies truly means the world to me 🩰💪 I’m so proud of how far we’ve come together, and this is only the beginning. 2026 is going to be incredible, and I can’t wait to keep growing, dancing, and celebrating every win with you 💫

Closing a Chapter, Carrying the Memories

Today marks the end of an era, and my heart is full. After more than 13 years at Herzlia Kerem, saying goodbye is harder than I ever imagined. Teaching here has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. I’ve learnt, grown, laughed, and built memories that will stay with me forever.

I’ve watched countless children walk into my classes with bright eyes and big dreams, and I’ve had the honour of watching them grow into confident, beautiful young adults. To every student who trusted me, who tried, who showed up, who shone — thank you. You have shaped me just as much as I hope I’ve shaped you.

To the incredible staff and colleagues who became like family — I will miss you deeply. Your dedication, your kindness, and your passion are what made this place so special. I wish each of you nothing but success and joy as you step into new beginnings.

Hearing that the school is closing for good was heartbreaking, but I choose to hold onto hope and excitement for what lies ahead. New chapters bring new opportunities, and I’m looking forward to all the wonderful things the studio has planned for the future.

Here’s to growth, to resilience, to memories, and to new adventures waiting around the corner.
