We're aligning our efforts to increase access to essential communication support and bring lasting impact to communities that need it most. Grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a visionary humanitarian.

I’m truly impressed by the incredible work being done by these dedicated Paediatric Anesthesiologists. I had the privilege of being invited to a meeting to share input on supporting neurodivergent, nonverbal children in preparing for surgery.

They’ve developed an amazing illustrative book to help with this process, and I saw a meaningful opportunity to suggest adapting it into a symbol-based communication format. This would empower these children with the language they need—not just to understand the surgical process, but to prepare for it both physically and emotionally.

Excited about the potential for collaboration ahead.

The gathering aimed at raising awareness about the organisation’s current and upcoming projects and to engage with volunteers eager to support their mission.

Gift of the Givers recently met with Speech Therapist, Rushdah Hartley to explore a initiative 🤝 aimed at bringing services directly into Early Childhood Development ( ) centres. This approach will allow children to receive targeted support during a critical stage in their growth, when they are already engaged in foundational learning.

On Thursday, 27th February 2025, we held a parent information session at the Cape Town based Turkish/English Preschool, Evim. The afternoon session was devoted to understanding Early Communication Intervention, Speech Therapy services offered, the assessment process and the importance of parental involvement. The session also included a collaborative team meeting between Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, the principal and class teachers. We are excited about this collaboration✨
