Father's Day is a special celebration to honour all the dads out there!

The dining room tables were tastefully decorated with old books, colourful ties, and games – creating a warm, casual, and inviting atmosphere for all the families that gathered for the afternoon.

On the menu was a hearty French onion soup to start, and sliced roast fillet with a green peppercorn sauce. Or, you could choose Kathy's slow-cooked Osso Bucco with red wine for the main course.

Dessert was a delicious pecan toffee cake with yoghurt gelato and maple cream sauce — definitely a feast fit for fathers!

Dads also got to choose a colourful stress ball as a take-home gift.

Our Residents enjoyed a night of Music and Midwinter elegance on 25th June!

Guests arrived dressed in their best – Velvet, Furs and Sparkles and were greeted with a glass of Gluhwein to keep the winter chill at bay!

Tables were elegantly adorned in black velvet, gold and blingy centrepieces. The menu of Butternut & apple soup, Slow-roasted garlic & honey mustard Lamb Shoulder and ending off with a yummy Chocolate Fondant dessert was very well received and enjoyed by all.

Our very own Oasis Singing Group provided the entertainment for the evening, performing 12 popular songs which were carefully chosen for the evening! What an awesome performance – thanks to the leadership of Maria, Savvas and Caroline and a fully booked dining room proved just how much their performance was enjoyed!

Charlie’s back!

Many have wondered about the whereabouts of Charlie the heron and whether the ponds still offer enough fish, especially with the recent decline in water quality over the summer due to the issues at Potsdam. We're pleased to report that Charlie has indeed returned—much to the delight of several residents who’ve managed to capture him on camera. While we haven’t yet received a photo of him mid-snack, we’re happy to share this lovely shot from Irene Juhnke.

Not only is Charlie back, but Residents have also spotted crabs along the pathways and in the ground-floor passage connecting the buildings!
