It is with immense pride that I announce that and are combining forces! ๐ฆ๐
In July last year, we were heartbroken when Gail passed away after a difficult but incredibly brave battle with cancer. Gail was so much more than just a colleague to each of us and inspired all of us as she fought continuously to develop the profession of audiology โ something which we are eternally grateful for and will strive to continue in her honor.
Whilst the audiologists and rest of the team at Claremont Audiology remain exactly the same, the name of the practice will be changing to Shannon OโLeary Audiology, trading as HearInAfrica Claremont. As many of you are aware, I created HearInAfrica in 2015 as a culmination of my experiences in community-based audiology and dreams for the future of audiology in Africa. My focus is on improving the accessibility, affordability and quality of hearing healthcare services and I am delighted that Claremont Audiology will now be embraced under the wing of HearInAfrica.
