Q & A

Q: What happens during a consultation?

A: Our doctors will diagnose you using a traditional TCM way known as pulse diagnosis.
The doctor will then ask you some questions and explain to you how they can treat your problem.

Q: What kind of surprises can I expect?

A: If you haven’t been to a TCM clinic before, you would be surprise on how accurate the pulse diagnosis is. The diagnosis does not make use of any electronic or modern medicine equipment. It is a skills set that has been passed down for a few thousand years.

Q: What are things to take note of?

A: We have many patients who are used to talking for 90% of the time. This is different to a GP, where doctors tend to talk really little. So please allow the doctor time to talk too.

Q: How long is a session?

A: The first consultation may be slightly longer than follow ups, you can budget around 15 mins for your first consultation.
If acupuncture treatment is required, that is around 30 mins after the consultation.
If other forms of treatment is require, that will also take additional time.
