🌸 Weekly Pollen Summary 🌸
Tree pollen has surged at coastal sites, with plane, hackberry & oak dominating across the country 🌳.
⚠️ Durban recorded a strong peak of allergenic mould (Cladosporium).
✨ Cape Town:
Pine & plane are the dominant trees, with oak, birch, cypress, mulberry, olive, lemon & sumac also active. Weeds (daisy, goosefoot, sedges, erica, nettle) were present. Moulds remained low.
📍 Other Cities:
Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, Kimberley → very high tree counts
Durban → allergenic mould spike + significant tree pollen
Gqeberha & George → tree pollen rising, with pine, plane & acacia
