Yep, we’ve officially hit the big TWO-ZERO — and no, we still can’t believe it either! 😅

Fast forward 20 years and it feels like we’ve seen it ALL in the world of township media:

It was such a great experience taking Meta Media and Capitec into the streets of Thembisa last week, visiting our sites and some of the small business owners who are making a big impact.

We especially loved hearing Ma Zwane telling her story of Busy Corner Imbizo Shisanyama on our lunch stop and listening to Thabiso Hlongwane as he told us about his journey to success with Greener Pastures Recycling Company - Pty Ltd.

We ended off our day with meeting some of the small business owners at the Kasi coLab in the Mall of Thembisa, who are a true testament to what being Proudly South African is all about.
