Care for Children, CPR & First Aid Courses The Care for Children Course takes participants through the necessary steps of action to treat babies and children during a medical emergency.

Emergency First Response is one of the fastest-growing international CPR, AED and first aid training organizations. Focused on training the lay rescuer, the Emergency First Response approach to training builds confidence in lay rescuers and increases their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency by teaching them the skills they need in a non-stressful learning environment. Participants are also given as much practice as necessary to master and retain these skills with a number of training aides available. The Care for Children Emergency First Response Course takes participants through the necessary steps of action to treat babies and children in the most common emergencies. The course includes CPR, secondary care, and other issues such as: safety precaution, managing an emergency, conscious choking child/baby, a child’s emotional state, etc. This is a great course for parents, grandparents, teachers, babysitters, and nannies. (Certification also available)
Duration: 3-4 hours

-Adult, child and infant Primary Care Course (CPR)
-Adult, child and infant CPR and basic First Aid- course for minors

At R280, courses include:
– Certificate of Participation

* Certification available at additional cost and upon completion of Participant Manual chapter reviews and final exam. Optional: The detailed Participant Manual (great for keeping your skills fresh at home) includes a plethora of additional emergency information and can be yours for R250.
