A small group to accommodate moms and their babes, and to ensure a great understanding of this valuable life skill.

Today is a GREAT day! Why?? Because we are presenting our First Aid Essentials for Children course to the amazing ladies who have joined the School of Courage & Confidence!

The School of Courage and Confidence runs personal development courses for domestic workers in South Africa.

What an honour to be a part of this incredible initiative!
We cannot wait to get going with our First Aid course :)

What a wonderful morning chatting to the lovely moms and their gorgeous babies at the Backyard Cafe this morning!

Wonderful supportive group of moms that are just hanging out and enjoying each other’s company! Was great to be able to chat to them about hiring a nanny, childcare course and of course FIRST AID courses!

Thanks for having me The Backyard Cafe' and hope we can arrange a moms First Aid course soon.

PS. If you ever need a spot for a GREAT cup of coffee and a delicious bite to eat - head to the Backyard cafe! My first time there and I will DEFINITELY be back 😀

We cover the following topics:
- Accident and Injury prevention
- The emergency plan
- CPR
- Trauma emergencies (bleeding, head/eye/tooth injuries, burns, etc)
- Breathing emergencies incl. choking
- Medical emergencies (allergic reactions, seizures and epilepsy)
- Environmental emergencies (stings, bites, poisoning)
