I would like to empower as many couples as possible with knowledge, enabling them to be their own birth advocates. I am a trained Doula as well as a certified HypnoBirthing practitioner in the Mongan Method. I strongly believe that a woman's body is 100% capable of natural child birth. I believe I have the knowledge and skills to help her achieve her desired birth.

When I was younger, I thought if I could just keep everyone around me happy, then maybe I would finally feel safe and loved.

People-pleasing doesn’t come from kindness
It comes from survival

As children, many of us learned that love was conditional
That we had to be ā€œgoodā€ to be accepted
Quiet to be safe
Helpful to be worthy

We became experts at reading the room
At shrinking our own needs
At carrying the weight of everyone else’s emotions
Because deep down we believed that if we made others happy, maybe then we would be loved

But here’s the truth
People-pleasing is not love
It is self-abandonment
And while it may have protected us once, it no longer serves the women we are becoming

Healing people-pleasing means learning to listen to your own needs again
It means daring to disappoint others in order to stay true to yourself
It means choosing authenticity over approval
And in that choice, you reclaim your power

Because real love begins the moment you stop betraying yourself to be loved by others
