Cardiovascular Disease Research Study:

Do you have, or are you at high risk for, cardiovascular disease (CVD; also known as Heart disease)?
Are you unable to take statin medications due to side effects?

You may be eligible for a clinical research study being conducted to test the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication that may hep the reduce the occurrence of major CVD events, such as heart attacks and strokes , for patients with , or at risk for CVD , who are also statin intolerant.

To Qualify you Must:

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a history of, or are at high risk , for CVD,
Be statin intolerant (Have not been able to tolerate two or more statins);
Meet additional study criteria

This study is approved by Pharma Ethics and Medicines Control Council of South Africa.
