Our Diversity Role Model category acknowledges the outstanding achievements and contributions to the mission of empowering more women and/or members of underrepresented groups.

According to our findings from the regional phase, the majority the gender-based solutions are coming from Southern Africa. This shift in focus on how to integrate women into a team and support the needs of women in Africa is crucial.

NOOSi Health, an all female founded, led & managed start-up, is working on Gender Equity through empowering Professional Nurses (92% in SA are women & 100% of our private nurse practitioners are women), using innovative tech to increase access to at- home health care (80+% of family healthcare decisions are made by women), reducing the costs, improving quality (80% of our clients are women), & the sustainability of health service delivery (nurses are the largest group of health professionals globally, and in Africa & in critically short supply), and building ecosystem partnerships with women led businesses (hello 👋 and our vendors! )
