World Breastfeeding Week | 1–7 August 2025
Wow what a week! I had fun at Karl Bremer decorating their postnatal room with info posters and flowers. The week was ended off beautifully today with attending the local La Leche League meeting in Durbanville and exploring the subject of the sustainability of breastfeeding. I want to encourage all breastfeeding mothers to join these meetings and enjoy the wonderful support and encouragement.

I walk beside her, calm and near.
Through tears and questions, milk and grace,
We journey to that feeding place.
A doula’s heart, a peer who knows,
How love is found when courage grows.
