An exciting new chapter for Startline 🤍
As Startline continues to grow, we’re so happy to introduce Tasha Pollard, who has recently joined the team as Kirsten’s right hand. This is a meaningful and exciting extension of Startline — allowing us to offer the same level of care, passion, and attention you know and trust, to even more animals.
When asked about the journey that led her here, this is what Tasha shared:
A moment with an animal that made you realise this is the work you’re meant to do.
It’s hard to pinpoint a single moment. Animals have always been part of my life, and I’ve been drawn to them for as long as I can remember. I’m constantly fascinated by their behaviour and quietly in awe of their intelligence. Rather than one defining experience, it’s been a series of small moments over time that have gently confirmed this is exactly where I’m meant to be.

To me, rehabilitation isn’t just about the body — it’s about offering support and comfort, restoring confidence, and helping them be their best for themselves and for the people who love them.
What made Startline feel like the right place for you at this stage of your journey.
The excitement of joining Startline says it all. Passion drives everything here, and care is always at the heart of what they do. I’m looking forward to learning, growing, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of the animals we work with.

One small personal detail about what grounds or inspires you outside of work.
It’s simple really—time with family and friends, a walk with my Staffie Sam, a few minutes in the sun, or a run to clear my head.
