THE IMPORTANCE OF THE LIVER
Did you know a well-functioning liver can regenerate and heal itself?
The liver is located just beneath the rib cage in the right upper abdomen and is the largest solid organ in the body. It removes toxins from the blood, maintains healthy blood sugar levels, regulates blood clotting, and performs over 500 other functions in the body.
It produces bile, which helps to digest fats and carry away waste.
The liver consists of four lobes, which are each made up of eight sections and thousands of lobules (or small lobes).
Chronic stress can negatively impact liver health by increasing inflammation and disrupting liver function.
Our Liver 30C is a supportive remedy for acute liver ailments, e.g. ‘hangover’, overindulgence of food & alcohol, cirrhosis, hepatitis and jaundice.
It acts as a tonic and helps to restore the liver following general overindulgence, glandular fever, anaesthesia, and the use of drugs that damage the liver.
