Occupational Health and Safety Training Safe-T-Con is built on best business practices and integrity which is the cornerstone of our business.

We address all sectors of the market with the primary objective of supplying a value added service, thereby affording our clients the implemented ensuring their legal compliance status. The company is a flexible organisation that can deliver services to small and large clients alike and provides a balanced focus to safety, safety requirements, systems and training. We have a number of trainers with permanent resource base specializing in all the disciplines and, in view of this flexibility, we are able to provide a positive response to any inquiry within twenty four hours. Safe-T-Con courses have been developed in house, to meet legal requirements, by our highly trained and knowledgeable staff. All courses are accredited through TETA, and/or LGSETA. Our accreditation with HWSETA and Service SETA is also in process. Our courses are also structured in such a way as to make all employees comfortable in all different education levels. The Safe-T-Con’s approach to Legal compliance systems and training is unique and differs from other “consulting” services, in that we provide a hands-on, practical service by experienced personnel to guide you through the myriad of legal requisites.

Fire Fighting Techniques, or Fire Marshall, course entails:

1. Identifying different types of fires: This includes understanding fire prevention and fire protection, causes of fires and different classes of fires.
2. Explain and practice fire prevention: The prevention of fires in relation to housekeeping & industrial safe practices, as well as the consequence of non-adherence.
3. The science of fire: The role of oxygen and heat or ignition sources in a fire.
4. Fire Extinguishers: Components of a fire extinguisher, different types of extinguishers and when to use which one.
5. Fire control methods: How to prevent fires in the workplace.
6. Fire fighting equipment inspections: Know how to inspect and maintain your extinguishers.
7. Evacuation Plans: How to correctly handle the evacuation of all personnel.
