Our accreditation with HWSETA and Service SETA is also in process. Our courses are also structured in such a way as to make all employees comfortable in all different education levels. Inspecting a scaffold may seem to be a simple and easy task, but if we do not understand the legal requirements of scaffolding, many hazards and risks can be overlooked that can lead to severe incidents with dire consequences for both inspector and employer.
Our Scaffold Inspector course will give a better understanding of the risks and hazards attached to a scaffold; the different types of scaffolding, as well as protective equipment & the legal requirements to look at for compliance of a scaffold.

Throughout this Scaffold Inspector course, you will learn about:
1. Applicable legislation for scaffolding: OHS Act; Construction Regulations; SANS 10085; etc.
2. Requirements for scaffolding: Different types of scaffolds; access scaffolding platforms; ties; bracing; etc.
3. The resources for erecting a scaffold: How to select the correct scaffold; safety equipment; types of scaffolding equipment; etc.
4. Erect access scaffolding: Identifying hazards & risks; requirements for erecting scaffolding; design requirements; safety precautions; etc.
5. Inspection of scaffolding: Hazards & risks related to inspecting; legal requirements when inspecting; basic checklists; etc.
6. Read & interpret drawings: How to interpret drawings; scaffold design calculations; work load calculations; etc.
