10 Tips To Power Your Protein Diet
1. Drink coffee with skim milk
2. Have a hard boiled egg with a few crackers as a snack
3. Snack on an apple with low fat cheese or sugar free
peanut butter
4. Eat edamame beans
5. Choose the “loin” cut of the meat – it’s the most lean
6. Enjoy yoghurt with fruit or nuts as a snack
7. Go vegetarian once a week with high fibre legumes:
peas, beans and lentils
8. Add beans, nuts or seeds to your salads to pump up
the protein
9. Add a tablespoon of low fat cream cheese to your
protein shake – such as chocolate whey powder, peanut
butter, low fat milk and vanilla essence, or vanilla whey
powder, a whole orange and low fat milk
10. Find recipes for cakes made with almond flour instead
of regular flour, and substitute the sugar with xylitol.
