As December comes to a close in Cape Town, we’re reminded of how quickly ocean conditions can change. Strong currents, rip tides, cold water, and powerful waves are often not visible from shore and can place even confident swimmers at risk.

🛟 Important water safety reminders:

-Swim where lifeguards are on duty
-Never swim alone
-Watch for rip currents and changing tides
-Keep children within arm’s reach
-When in doubt, stay out
