In line with the new Western Cape Government and WHO guidelines we have sourced and been selling cloth masks in store. We would like to extend our involvement and offer that for every mask sold at R70 we will cover the cost of donating one to be distributed through the “at risk” and front line staff. Hout Bay masks4all will be launching in the bay in the next few days and we urge everyone to support our community and try to limit the spread in our beautiful bay! It has been an incredibly trying time for us here at Organic Route, weighing up whether to work through the lock down period, considering the safety of my staff and my family but we have decided to carry on, as long as we can to try and support the countless local suppliers and farmers who have no choice but to go on. We will until further notice be getting fresh stock weekly from Farmer Angus Naturally Organic Red Barn Free Range Chicken Farm Metro Organics Cure Deli Cape Creme Plant Based Foods earthshine and many many more. We are working limited hours Monday to Friday 10-2 and rotating staff. Taking every sanitary precaution we can and I will transport my own staff at all times. I am encouraging people to pre order at alex@gardenroutegoodies.co.za so that we can pre pack and you can just pick up and where possible we can deliver. We have been given permission by the government to carry on trading and we will do so as long as it’s safe and there’s demand. Show real support for local production!

I am looking for a part time admin assistant with previous retail experience specifically in ordering, stock control, costing and working with Point of Sale systems.
