Who am I?

Over the last 10 years, with my traditional University studies (BA. HSSC Psychological Counselling from Unisa: 2004 and Honours in Religious Studies from Unisa: 2017) and intent to learn more about Consciousness and how this Universe might actually work based on scientific principles like waves and particles, as well as my association with Higher Spiritualism and degrees in Reiki, I developed my own inherent talents. Through continued study and personal development a highly developed spiritual ability manifested, supporting an intricate understanding of what I like to call Life, the Universe and Everything else. While I in no way claim to have all the answers (I will continue to grow and search for these into eternity), I now have a greater understanding of how a Being functions holistically (physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually) – and use all this knowledge gained to date in my practice, helping adults to fall pregnant, resolve relationship issues, find joy, calm, peace, balance, stop stressing and relax.

That’s all good, but what started me on this road…

I was 10 when Mom was brutally attacked and strangled in Johannesburg. She lived, to tell us about her NDE the Christmas after my Dad was diagnosed with AMM (a form of cancer in the bone marrow) and given 6 months to live (I was 17). When I asked her why she wasn’t worried about Dad dying, her response was, “Because I know where he’s going.” Dad too decided that no one could tell him how to live or when to die and only passed away 13 years after his initial diagnosis.

My past caught up with me when I was 25 where I attended Alcoholics Anonymous for the first time. It was there that my journey started into what I thought was a new me, a new marriage only to find that 6 years later everything had fallen apart again and I was now newly un-married, barely sober and not quite functioning.

I went to see a psychologist, stopped drinking again and started studying Psychology so that I could understand myself, let alone anyone else. I also met the love of my life. In this time, I branched out into the alternative field, searching for answers to Who am I? Why am I here? And where’s heaven? (I had to know where Dad was and where Mom had journeyed to). I took Reiki courses, intuitive courses, read copious books on quantum physics, consciousness, religious and new age tenets, meditation, Christianity, Buddhism, Love, basically anything that my curious mind and spirit directed me to – then blow me away, literally – I found I was able listen to the ‘other side’.

So what happened next…

Before my first girl was born, I knew she’d have a physical anomaly and true to form, out she popped with a ‘bumb thumb’ (an extra digit on her right thumb) which wasn’t seen on any scan. I’d given up on having my second child, after a miscarriage at 40 and the ups and downs of trying to have another child but a vision I’d had while meditating one day definitely suggested I’d have two children. I held on tight to that vision even as I was letting go of the possibility and at 43 she arrived.

I’ve been practicing spiritual psychology face to face with wonderful souls for many years.And so while the above is in no way comprehensive of the highs and lows of my life, this maybe goes a little way to explain why I’m qualified to be who I am and do what I do.
