Chin and Partners is currently one of the largest and best known orthotic and prosthetic practices in Cape Town. We boast an exceptional range of skillsets from our highly experienced professionals, providing neuro, rehabilitation, sports, and clinical bracing as well as prosthetic solutions for every kind of amputee. We aim to empower people by exceeding their expectations of what can be achieved, both physically and mentally. Our skilled professionals are also qualified to manufacture a range of custom made devices to suite the condition at hand. We only stock products from the world’s leading manufacturers to ensure we offer the best outcome. We have four branches – two are situated in Vincent Pallotti Hospital in Pinelands and the others are at Back to Health in Claremont and the Medsport branch in Bree Street in the CBD. What an incredible performance from our Fairtree Protea, Margi Palmer, competing in the Para Ladies Singles at the Lawn Bowls World Cup 2025 in Kuala Lumpur! 🏆

Get • 👶 Grandma-in-training! 💪❤️

This is D’Arcy, one of our incredible CSR (Concentrated Stroke Rehab) patients, and soon-to-be first-time grandma! 🍼

Her motivation? To confidently hold and walk with her grandbaby on the way. 🥰

So, her therapist got creative making a “baby” out of a weighted ball, pillow/pillowcase + ankle weights! Together, they practiced walking forwards and backwards without an assistive device in our Solo-Step harness for safety and support.

Because therapy isn’t just about strength and balance…
It’s about getting back to the moments that matter most. 🤱

New dynamic partial foot prosthesis. This allows for a more natural gait pattern, by providing contact with the ground in different phases of walking as well as provide stability during these phases, allowing a smooth walking pattern.
