Fluoroscopy Guided lymphoedema mapping is world class technology available in Gauteng, South-Africa. Lymph fluoroscopy mapping is the technique of injecting a very small amount of 'tracer' (or dye) just under the skin. It is a live image of the lymphatic system and how it changes when there is pathology. Guided by the images on the screen, FG-MLD allows the patient and therapist to visualise their lymphatic pathways and so they understand exactly where the lymphatic vessels run and treatment can be done more effectively.

Erika van der Mescht can perform fluoroscopy guided manual lymph drainage after FG Mapping was done.

She can also now Lymphatic Mapping!!!
