Dr Marilize Truter just returned from the annual Surgicom Conference in Umhlanga this past weekend. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with brilliant minds in the industry and to stay up to date with surgical advancements such as “the new kid on the block”: robotic assisted surgery. Continuous education is key to growth, and as an accredited robotic assistant she hopes that soon more patients will benefit from this cutting edge technology. Huge thanks to all the speakers and organizers for making this event so impactful!
