Most people don’t even know they have gallstones… until their body decides it’s time to speak up.

That’s the tricky part — it can stay quiet for years, then suddenly hit you with pain you didn’t see coming.

Have you ever experienced unexplained abdominal pain or discomfort after eating? Or do you know someone who has?

Let’s talk about it 👇
Drop a “YES” if you’ve had symptoms, or “CURIOUS” if you want to learn more.

Your health shouldn’t be a guessing game — early awareness makes all the difference.

If something feels off, don’t ignore it. Get checked. Get clarity.

“Most people think appendix pain starts on the right side… but that’s not always how it begins.”

As a surgeon, I’ve seen many patients ignore the early signs because the pain didn’t feel “serious” at first.

It often starts near the belly button, then gradually moves to the lower right side — and that’s when it becomes sharper and harder to ignore.

That movement is your body trying to tell you something. And when it comes to your health, small signs can mean big things.

Don’t wait until the pain becomes unbearable. Early diagnosis can prevent complications.

💬 Tell me — have you ever felt pain like this? Was it left or right?

I’ve seen how quickly a simple stomach pain can turn into something serious… and that’s why I don’t take chances when it comes to your health.

When the appendix bursts, it’s no longer just discomfort — it becomes a medical emergency.

Infection can spread fast, pain becomes severe and complications can follow if not treated in time.

I always say: your body whispers before it screams… don’t ignore the whispers.

If something feels off, rather come in early and let’s check it together.

It could save you from a much bigger problem later.

📍 Don’t wait until it’s too late — seek medical help as soon as you feel unusual abdominal pain. Your life matters.

As a doctor, I always say — don’t ignore abdominal pain.

Your body speaks and it’s important to listen.

If you’re experiencing pain, please come in and let us assess you properly.

Sometimes it may be something simple, but other times it could be something like appendicitis — and early detection makes all the difference.

We use a combination of your medical history, physical examination and tests like blood work, urine tests, ultrasounds, and in some cases CT scans or MRI (especially for children and pregnant women) to get clear answers.

My goal is always to give you clarity, peace of mind and the right care at the right time.

Don’t wait until it’s too late — your health matters.

Appendicitis isn’t something we can always predict.

It can affect anyone — young or old — and often shows up when we least expect it.

One common theory is that a small blockage, sometimes even a tiny piece of stool, can clog the appendix.

This blockage can worsen over time, cutting off blood supply and leading to inflammation, infection, or even rupture if not treated early.

Because symptoms can vary, especially in very young or older individuals, diagnosis isn’t always straightforward.

That’s why awareness matters — knowing the signs and seeking help early can make all the difference.

Why does fatty food trigger pain? 🤔

When you eat fatty foods, your gallbladder releases bile to help digest the fat.

But if you have gallstones or inflammation, that squeeze can cause sharp pain — usually in the upper right side of your abdomen.

Don’t ignore the signs your body is giving you. Early diagnosis can make all the difference.

A hernia might seem like a minor "bulge" you can live with, but as a surgeon, I’ve seen how quickly that can change. 🩺

The truth is, a hernia can become a medical emergency without any warning.

This happens when the protruding tissue becomes incarcerated (trapped) or strangulated (cutting off blood supply).

When this happens, every minute counts to prevent permanent damage.

Warning Signs You Should Never Ignore:
1. Sudden, severe pain that worsens quickly.

2. A bulge that becomes firm, tender, or turns red/purple.

3. Nausea and vomiting.

4. Inability to pass gas or have a bowel movement.

I always tell my patients: don't wait for the pain to become unbearable. Early consultation and elective repair are far safer than an emergency procedure.

Are you concerned about a persistent bulge? Let’s discuss your options before it becomes an emergency.

Appendicitis usually strikes suddenly.

Pain often starts around the belly button and moves to the lower right side of the abdomen.

Nausea, vomiting, fever, diarrhea or constipation can follow.

When ignored, the infection can spread and affect other organs, making the condition dangerous.

Early attention saves lives 🩺⚠️

As human beings, we have an appendix, found at the junction of the small and large intestine.

It often appears unnecessary, almost like a remnant of evolution.

However, when it becomes inflamed, it can cause serious and even life-threatening complications.

This is why understanding our bodies and not ignoring warning signs is so important.🩺
