A great soul was laid to rest today, a dear friend and colleague of my husband. You think you understand grief on an intellectual, psychological and even spiritual level, but then it surprises you again.

Grief is such an emotional roller-coaster. Many theories try to explain an experience that really is so deeply personal. And yet it's one of those universal things we will all experience.

May the road rise up to meet you, until we meet again our dear friend.

Every year I can feel an elevation in my spirit as we move closer to spring. How apt that I have officially moved into my permanent office space at Engelmed as the season is starting to change. Almost feels like a new beginning. May these four walls bring healing, health and wellbeing to many lives.

When I was in grade 7 my teacher walked out of the class and said, please don't break down the class... I let rip with The Offspring's original prankster. I was shamed in front of the class and given detention for being disrespectful. That one left quite a mark. My whole life if you say a word, I break out in song in my head mostly as I've learnt to mask. My stims have always been music and auditory. If you say Pamona or if I read it that word gets stuck in my head for at least 15 repeats.

Not all brains work the same, and that is wonderful 🌿 I'm learning to love and embrace this quirky little nugget I call my brain
