What an unforgettable Autumn Swim Gala!

31 of our incredible swim students took to the water this Saturday, and WOW! did they make us proud! 💙 From our youngest swimmers to our more experienced athletes, everyone gave it their all to chase (and beat!) their personal best times.

The courage and determination in the pool was amazing to watch. Our swimmers are brave, fierce, and full of heart! Most importantly… we had SO much fun! 🐬

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support, and to our phenomenal instructors for putting together such a fantastic event 🥇

🚨 LOST ANKLE BAND🚨

Coach Ruben’s ankle band has gone missing during today’s Midmar Mile. Last seen at the starting point, moments before chaos, elbows, and what can only be described as a full-scale aquatic ambush.

Witnesses report Coach Ruben was “assaulted” in the water at the start of the race while bravely rocking his Lilo & Stitch speedo and inflatable lilo — a sight none of us will ever unsee

👉 If found, please return immediately to Water Orphans
👉 Ankle band may be confused, frightened, and smelling faintly of Jetski petrol pollution

Huge shout-out to our legendary swim instructors and one very strong student who took on the Midmar Mile today like absolute pros
Not their first rodeo – and it showed!

Clocking in at an impressive 30 minutes, they powered through the mile with confidence, grit, and serious open-water skill. This is what commitment, consistency, and a love for the water looks like 🔥
