When we first discovered moringa in 2015 we were fascinated by the remarkable nutritional value, of this super food that originated and being used for many years in India and Africa countries. Our mission revolves around three unifying aims:

To procure, distribute, and sell only the finest Moringa and allied products to promote a healthy lifestyle for all. Economic Mission
To support local moringa farmers and producers of the finest moringa oleifera and allied products to become sustainable producers while we operate Moringa Healthy Lifestyle SA to become a sustainable retail company of the finest moringa and allied products and promoting opportunities for entrepreneurs to become retailers or agents of Moringa Healthy Lifestyle SA

OUR STORY

Moringa Healthy Lifestyle SA founder Gerhard Human was first introduced to moringa oleifera by a former colleague. At first he started using the moringa capsules as it is easy to use on the go and easy to take in, specially for first time users who are not keen on the bitter taste of moringa oleifera leaf powder. He soon felt his energy levels rising and became healthier. As an adventurer he soon discovered the different ways of using moringa oleifera leaf power in health shakes and smoothies and also moringa tea to replace at least a cup of coffee per day. He decided to experiment with the growth and harvesting of moringa oleifera and in December 2016 he planted approximately 1000 seeds. After just a few weeks it started to germinate. The trees started to grow rapidly and in approximately 8 weeks he harvest his first batch of moringa leaves. He continued experimenting the agricultural methods of growing and harvesting moringa oleifera organically. As a part time entrepreneur and full time Town Planner he decided in mid 2017 to shift the focus of Moringa Healthy Lifestyle SA business from agricultural to a retail to spend more time and focus on delivering the end product to individuals and the community, towards the end of 2017 Moringa Healthy Lifestyle SA started selling moringa powder. Today Moringa Healthy Lifestyle SA has 13 different moringa products ranging from health supplements to body care products. Moringa is not just another super food, it’s a gift from nature and should be easily accessible to all.
