I didn't ask for a , but in the end, I realise he did me a favour. This article attached, speaks more or less of my . It hasn't been easy, but I truly have grown...I have learned what really is for me, having lost some sense of it. I learned what I am capable of achieving on my own and how I really am. With , I could see myself clearly. from him, I could see the I made. Without his , I have had to find my own and in life. I am alive again. I am to him. I am sad for my sons who don't understand yet and who feel the pain of a family, but I hope that they will learn from us and this experience...to hold onto themselves and love themselves equally to their partners one day...be whole (as can humanely be) people, just sharing two lives and be-ing loving...

Because of my divorce, I realized that no matter how much someone loves me, he will never fully own me.

My mother died when I was very young. Even at the funeral I was told not to cry...because it would make my father cry... For years I struggled quietly and became . When I sought help for this, I learned about the value of giving expression to . When my marriage ended and became separated from my sons, I gave myself permission to . As I opened the gates, all the old, long-held of the past came up and out too. I lost loved ones, literally and figuratively, but I was saved so to speak...and although the scars remain forever and I am detached physically from my beloveds...I am somehow more of me, not less, and my heart remains full of love for them.

There is a time for and a time for and all the other things that brings...

So I resonated with this article shared below.

"What if we never ‘get over’ certain deaths, or our childhoods? What if the idea that we should have by now, or will, is a great palace lie? What if we're not supposed to? What if it takes a life time…?”

Our survival adaptations are so tough, but our
wounds are so delicate. To heal, we have to lift the
armor carefully- it saved our lives, after all. It’s like
moving your best friend off to the side of the path.
You don’t trample on her, you don’t hit him with a
sledgehammer. You honor her presence like a warm
blanket that has kept you safe and sound during
wintry times. And then, when the moment is right,
you get inside and stitch your wounds with the thread
of love, slowly and surely, not rushing to completion,
nurturing as you weave, tender and true. The healing
process has a heart of its own, moving at its own
delicate pace. We are such wondrous weavers...
