Good reminder. I try to eat a diverse mix and I cook in the moment and with what I have and what my body says "eat this" when I see it. So I'm afraid no recipe as such to share except - support local, eat organic if possible, listen your body's calling and be present when preparing foods so that your energy goes into the food with love

Eat with the season. These are the fruits and veggies thriving in Cape Town this winter 🌱 What’s your favourite winter recipe using local produce?

🥦🍊 Eat local this winter!
Look out for these seasonal stars at your next market:
Spinach
Cabbage
Carrots
Turnips
Citrus fruits
Sweet potatoes
Beets
Support local farmers and eat with the season 🌱

Day 5: Reflection & Letting Go
✅ Write down one thing you want to release (stress, self-doubt, fear) and one thing you want to invite (peace, confidence, joy).
✅ If possible, do a small symbolic act—burn the paper, release it into the wind, or simply meditate on it.
✅ Take 10 deep breaths and visualize yourself stepping into a lighter, more peaceful version of yourself.

Day 4: Self-Care Ritual – Nurture Your Body & Soul
✅ Dedicate time to a self-care ritual (e.g., a DIY face mask, aromatherapy, or a luxurious bath).
✅ Try a new wellness practice: gratitude journaling, stretching, or herbal tea ritual.
✅ Express gratitude for your body and all it does for you.

Day 3: Digital Detox – Unplug to Recharge
✅ Set aside 2-4 hours (or a whole day if possible) without social media or screens.
✅ Instead, journal, read a book, or have a face-to-face conversation.

Day 2: Nature Connection – Ground Yourself in the Present
✅ Spend at least 15 minutes outside—barefoot if possible—walking, sitting, or simply observing nature.
✅ Try a mindful walk: focus on your breath, the sound of birds, and the feeling of the ground beneath you.
✅ Take a photo of something that catches your eye and reflect on what it means to you.

Day 1: Mindful Mornings – Start Your Day with Intention
✅ Begin your day with a 5-minute breathing exercise or silent meditation.
✅ Set a positive intention for the day (e.g., “Today, I will be present in every moment”).

Our Story

Relaxation is key to overall well-being. Living life to the full in a balanced way can bring harmony within and to those around you. Finding an exercise form you enjoy and that is kind to the whole body (inside and out), bring in the mental focus whereby your mind can have a clarity, makes for one special kind of investment you can do for yourself. We invested in learning the ancient art of Tai Chi Chuan and would love to share this incredible artform with you. Whether you are a healthy active being, a person afraid of falling, a person needing post-operative gentle movement, or a person who is re-introducing exercise to their lifestyle, we can tailor-make the sessions for you.

Then there is the healing modality of touch. Massage techniques can assist relaxation, increase circulation, and as I like to put it “iron things out to find more space for your beautiful being to live in” (inspired by Jim Rohn “Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live.”)
