Meet our Therapists:
ANINE NIEMAN

Anine’s passion for physiotherapy comes from her passion for people. She graduated from the University of the Free State in 2015 with a B.Sc.Physiotherapy degree. She completed her comserve year at Shongwe Hospital in Mpumalanga in 2016 and then returned home to Bloemfontein to work there for a year.
Anine’s search for a better way to help people heal lead her to Ck Physiotherapy and the move to Cape Town with her husband was an easy choice. Her love of water (she has completed 5 Midmar Miles!) made the move even easier.
Anine has completed courses in Dry Needling level 1, Kinesiotaping and Introduction to TheraBand CLX. She has also completed her Watsu 1 and Watsu 2 courses presented by America's aquatic therapy guru, Peggy Schoedinger, and is well on the way to becoming a qualified Watsu practitioner.
Working with patients and seeing the immense improvement in their quality of life has just helped Anine’s love of Aquatherapy grow and grow.

Meet our therapists:
CORYN KATZ

Coryn Katzs’ physiotherapy career was established at the young age of 11 years old during frequent visits to the physiotherapist for tennis injuries! She graduated from Tulane University (USA) in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Med, double majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology and Psychology while on a tennis scholarship. Coryn was named to the “Who's Who among Students in Universities and Colleges in America” after topping the Dean's List and graduating Cum Laude.

Coryn returned to South Africa to attend The University of Cape Town and completed her Bachelor of Science Physiotherapy Degree in 2002. She went on to complete her community service year at Red Cross Children's Hospital in 2003.

Coryn has completed several dry needling courses, including an advanced course in 2013, though her main area of focus is Aquatic Physiotherapy. She has completed an aquatic foundation course, an aquatic neurology course, she is one of a handful of qualified Watsu practitioners in the Western Cape, has completed an orthopaedic course presented by America's aquatic therapy guru, Peggy Schoedinger, and is accomplished in techniques taught by Britain's Dr Heather Epps.

She completed her post-graduate studies in Switzerland in 2014, under the guidance of the pioneers of aquatic physiotherapy techniques and world leaders in the field, Johan Lambeck and Urs Gamper.

Coryn has designed and built a unique aquatic physiotherapy centre with each and every client in mind. Her aim is to facilitate able-bodied and disabled clients to function optimally and to improve their quality of life.

Coryn has a passion for rehabilitation and for returning clients to an optimal level of functioning. This passion has been fueled by her love for sports including tennis, marathon running and Ironman triathlons.

Coryn is a committed wife and a devoted mother to four beautiful children.
