Our products are made using the leaves of the Moringa oliefera tree. We’ve packaged the dried moringa leaves in different ways for you to consume. Steep a tea bag in hot water with a dollop of honey, add a teaspoon of the finely ground powder into your dishes or take a few moringa powder capsules on the go. Pick your preference!

Did you know that ALL parts of the Moringa oliefera tree can be used?

- The flowers are used whole in salads, pressed into a juice and brewed as tea.
- The seeds can be eaten fresh or cooked but are generally cold pressed to form an oil that is used topically for skin health. They are also used to purify water.
- The pods are often cooked when they are young in the same way you would cook green beans or asparagus.
- The leaves are the most versatile and nutritious part of the plant. They are harvested and can be consumed fresh, cooked or once dried.
- The bark of the trunk can be brewed and used for its antibiotic properties.
- The roots offer a concentrated form of the many compounds found throughout the rest of the plant. We don’t recommend consuming the root.

Who doesn’t love a good ‘before & after’ pic? Taken ten years apart (with many improvements, sweat, tears, and audits in-between)! Our drying & processing facility is FSSC22000, Ecocert, ZABS and Halaal Certified. This is where it all happens – here is where we rinse, dry, grade, mill, sieve and package our moringa oleifera crop. A powerhouse, for sure!

It's been 10 years since our family established Moringa Initiative. Our Moringa oleifera crop has been one that has created a significant impact on our family and community. The discovery of the plant’s nutritional benefits led us to set out on a mission to start a new venture that would create employment and nourish our Zambian community. We cleared 15 HA of land, built a drying unit & processing plant, built homes and a crèche for the newly employed farming families and their children, purchased seeds from Malawian farmers, and planted the seeds of our new venture. What a pivotal moment and a wonderful time to reflect on all the rewards we have reaped from this crop.
