‘After 4 months maternity leave with my second child, I headed back to work yesterday. I had a difficult first 4 months with my baby as we were in and out of hospital for various reasons. This made the hand over to her nanny quite a teary task. The entire weekend leading up to this day I felt heartbroken thinking about what was to come. I think this sense of sadness can only be understood by other parents who have been through the same thing. I was reminded about Heartbreak Rescue and quickly got myself a box. Later that day after just a few doses I already felt much more composed. Today I feel even better. While I miss my baby, the sting of that heartache has subsided.
