Self-practice is where the magic happens ✨
As instructors, we spend so much time guiding others that we forget how powerful it is to get back on our own mats.

When we move without teaching, something shifts — we start feeling the work again. The wobble, the burn, the breath. And that’s where better cueing is born.

Every session I do for myself helps me understand my clients’ movement patterns, challenges, and breakthroughs a little more clearly. It sharpens my cueing, refreshes my creativity, and reconnects me with why I love Pilates in the first place.

Here’s your reminder, instructors: your teaching gets better when you get on the mat too.

A Pilates matwork fundamental designed to promote spinal articulation, core strength, and control.

The Roll Up teaches precision and segmental movement of the spine — mobilizing each vertebra sequentially while maintaining deep abdominal engagement and breath coordination.

⚙️ Objectives:

Strengthen the abdominals
