Redness after Micro-Needling 👉🏼 and what it means
Redness after microneedling is completely normal and is actually a sign that the treatment has successfully stimulated the skin.
🔴 What redness after microneedling indicates
1. Increased blood circulation
The tiny micro-channels created during microneedling stimulate blood flow to the skin. This brings oxygen and nutrients to the area to begin the healing and regeneration process.
2. Controlled inflammation
Microneedling creates a controlled injury in the skin. The redness is your body’s natural inflammatory response, which signals the skin to start producing collagen and elastin.
3. Skin repair is beginning
The redness indicates that the skin has entered the repair phase, where new healthy skin cells begin forming and damaged tissue is replaced.

Mild treatments: 12–24 hours
Moderate depth: 24–48 hours
