We didn’t just lose the moment… we stopped hearing it.
We thought the future would make life easier.
Not quieter. Not lonelier. Not noisier in all the wrong ways.
Back then, we listened for the ice cream truck.
For our names being called from outside.
For the street lights flicking on.
Now?
We miss conversations in front of us…
but hear notifications from rooms away.
Hearing loss doesn’t always look like silence.
Sometimes it looks like disconnection.
Maybe it’s not just the world that changed.
Maybe it’s what we’re no longer hearing.
Clarity is connection.
