Our journey 🏞️through life is determined by the way we react to situations and people around us.
We usually act a certain way because beneath the surface our emotions are bubbling and a certain situation or person can trigger us off and we breakdown or react in a way that is not good for us. 😕
For example, if you had been at work and your boss screamed at you for something petty. You would feel angry or upset even a little stressed out.😞😩😣
It's the end of the day and you go home, and you arrive to a very messy home, which your child/spouse was supposed to clear up.
Naturally you would be upset but because you had a bad a day at work and you see your spouse/child frolicking about without cleaning the house, you EXPLODE into a fit of RAGE 🤯😡and this causes you to be very aggressive and emotional.
You have carried the anger from your boss home and channelled it out on your Spouse /child.
This is harmful because
☢️ You are not dealing with the cause of the true frustration.
☢️ You may harm the relationship that you have with your spouse /child.
☢️ You are unable to channel your negative energy constructively.
If left unattended, our emotions get the better of us and we are left feeling sad😟, lonely, angry😡, ashamed, anxious and stressed😬.
When you feel a NEGATIVE Emotion, STOP🛑, Take a MOMENT ⏰and BREATHE🌬️.
Be aware of what is bubbling beneath the surface before bubbling over 🌋
