What an incredible day it was! 🎊 APD-KZN marked International Day for Persons with Disabilities on 3 December 2025 with a vibrant sports and competition event enjoyed by 160 persons with disabilities from our 8 protective workshops. Thank you to all who helped make it unforgettable! 💫

23/07/2025 –Nelson Mandela Day Programme was conducted at Missionaries of Charity – 21 persons were reached. Mobile Barber and Company gave all clients a professional haircut. Social worker provided snacks to 50 persons

18/8/2025 – Women’s day program was held with the ladies at the centre. They were addressed on Women’s Month by the Social auxiliary worker and was pampered. Savory eats were provided by a parent- 4 people reached

12/08/2025- Program was conducted at Eleazar by Aids Foundation South Africa (AFSA) Bongumusa. Fezile and Nompilo. The theme was Economic strengthening. The program was conducted from 10:00 am to 13:30pm. The program taught clients things to look out for when they start businesses and how to manage finances. Meals were secured by AFSA-27 people were reached

18.08.205 Women’s day program held at Vukuzame was conducted by AIDS Foundation SA (AFSA). The theme was economic strengthening. The program taught clients things to look out when starting businesses and how to manage.

28/08/2025 – A Women’s day program was held with the Women at Chesterville. A Person with a disability from Ward 24 Committee addressed the clients as our Guest Speaker. Social auxiliary worker conducted a talk on Women’s Month. They were treated to meals that were sponsored by MALVERN wimpy. Cool drink was sponsored by the worker. They pampered with makeover and had their nails done. They were given slabs of Chocolates that were sponsored by Tiger Brands. – 9 people reached

22/08/2025 -Women’s Day Program was held at Dassenhoek library with Nagina Clinic and Epilepsy S.A. A presentation was conducted on economic development and sustainability. Guest speakers owning small businesses presented on how they started their businesses. Snacks were provided - 20
